North Delta, British Columbia

Last May 24, ONE20 Pub in North Delta was buzzing with music, familiar faces, and strong community spirit as D’Angkols returned to the stage, joined by guest band The Ouch. It wasn’t just about the performances, it felt like a proper reunion of people who share the same love for Filipino music, creativity, and good vibes.

A big thank you goes to our main sponsor, SMDC International Team, and to Ms. Gladys Tayag and Ms. Genny Altiga of Team Canada, whose support helped make this show happen. Behind the scenes, this kind of backing allows artists like D’Angkols and other Filipino Canadian musicians to keep pushing forward, writing, recording, performing, and building spaces where our community’s talent can shine.

We also want to give a massive shoutout to the many individuals and groups who stepped up to support the event: Alvir Valeriano of 3D Republic, Joan of Tsikenstarr Production, Johanna Valiente, Kabayan Restoration, Carolyne Periera of Sago to Go, Angela Espolong of Tapang Inks ,Neil Espolong , PSON – Pinoy Softroading Overland Nation 4×4, Overland Nation BC, Gelo Granados and Justin of IDIO Sound Lab, Edwin of E-Sound Factory, Per Per Manungas for the sound , JD Serrano of I Got Sunshine Photography, Michael Fabros and Michael Abella of Life and Lights, Jomari Dumalasa of Flip Vision Productions, and of course, the team at ONE20 Pub for hosting us. And thank you to our host for the night, Jayson, who kept the energy flowing from start to finish.

We also had something extra for the crowd , a raffle by East Manila Ink Tattoo, and we’re happy to announce the winners: Jet Tan (tattoo by Artist Shanti), Pang Ongkeko (tattoo by Artist Jayson), and Mike Gorospe (tattoo by Artist Jonas). Congratulations , we can’t wait to see what you guys get inked!

What made the night special wasn’t the size of the crowd, but the heart everyone brought into it. Events like this show how much can happen when we show up for each other- not just as fans, but as a real community. D’Angkols is already planning more shows across B.C., teaming up with more artists, and bringing that rock-OPM spirit to new stages.
Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, played, and helped make the night what it was. This isn’t the end, just the beginning.
